Winlock Olequa Senior Center has several exercise options that are yours for the choosing. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., is a low-impact class titled SAIL. This class will help you improve your strength, flexibility and balance while having fun moving to great music. Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. is the ever popular ZUMBA workout. This is faster paced and loads of fun.
Don't forget that the center also has games available and BINGO has had a major change. On the second and fourth Wednesdays, Sharon Care and Chehalis West are coming down to bring us the game. There is no charge and they bring great prizes. Join us for lunch and play Bingo after. Join us on Wednesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. for Cribbage. Bring a friend to join in the fun. Don't know how to play? We'll teach you. If you have any questions about the programs, please call the Senior Center at (360) 785-4325.
Congratulations to Cindy Malarz for winning the First Great Wolf Lodge raffle from the Winlock Egg Day Committee.
I am hearing really great things about our new pet groomer in town. Bark Avenue Grooming is really doing a great job I hear. If you have a pet that needs grooming, why not give them a chance and help support our local economy.
Finally, I had a friend Charlie Waugh visit from Seattle this past week. Charlie and his family have seen the Worlds Largest Egg, now my goal is to have them enjoy Egg Day. Charlie is one of those friends that even though we may not talk every week, when we do get together it always seems as though not much time has passed. Isn't that what a true friend is, when you see them it's just like it was yesterday.
