City Wide Yard Sale was a hit. The Park Board raised $108 and Steve & Claudia donated their yard sale proceeds of $76. Thanks to all that donated this year.
At present time the Park Board is working on a couple projects; a fence at Werden Park, memorial plaque at Werden Park and new plexiglass for kiosk signs. Busy group. To volunteer contact Steve via city hall at 295-3222.
Primary elections are over. The outcome was Ken Smith and Janet Charlton for the Mayor race and Kevin Flynn and Judy Costello for council position #4. An old fashion pie social will be planned in late September at Werden Park to meet all the candidates. Free homemade pie, who can resist that. Watch for schedule.

Life flight landed on the lawn by the Post Office Saturday evening. A service we are very thankful to have in our small community. Not only can it land by the Post Office but also at the old school site if needed. Thank you Lewis County Fire District 7 for taking care of our community. Our thoughts are with those who were in the accident.
Got an up coming event or community news call me at 295-3036.
