The heat continues to be brutal. When I moved to the PNW 11 years ago, I described the climate as: "9 months of rain forest and 3 months of desert". This year, the ratio is more like 50-50... With no rain likely in the foreseeable future, the threat of wildfire is downright terrifying out here at the end of SR 506. Please be careful and cautious at every turn. Ryderwood is a designated FireWise community and is committed to reducing the risk of wild land fires.
