The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is releasing the following information pursuant to RCW 4.24.50, which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public when the release of information will enhance public safety and protection.

On 04/16/07 David Ramirez was convicted in Yakima County Superior Court for Unlawful Imprisonment with Sexual Motivation. Ramirez forced his way into the home of an 18-year old male. Ramirez then removed his own clothing and demanded the male perform sexual acts on him. The male attempted to run, but Ramirez dragged him back and began to have forced sexual contact with the victim. It's reported that Ramirez was on some type of intoxicant at the time of the offense. As a result of this conviction, Ramirez was sentenced to 60 months in prison. No Offender treatment was completed by Ramirez and he is no longer on probation. He has several convictions involving drugs and burglaries dating back as far as 1989. Due to this conviction, Ramirez has been identified as a Level 3 offender.
