Nancy Morris
Willapa Valley Principal Nancy Morris was selected to join a group of 25 principals from around the state to share creative strategies, best practices, and leadership trends that helped them rise to the top of their professions. The two day summit, sponsored by the Association of Washington School Principals, was held at the Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie.
Nancy taught high school English for 18 years at Willapa Valley High School, and she has been the middle and high school principal for the past three years.
"I was excited to have this wonderful opportunity to share ideas and learn from some of the most enthusiastic, creative, and passionate principals from around the state," said Morris. "We shared best practices with the end goal of spreading ideas and new trends in education to all corners of the state. The networking and sharing will continue as the group is going to continue to meet in person and to network electronically."
