Toledo/Winlock United Freshman Adair Gariaby kicks a goal on Tuesday night in the final moments against Woodland. Graibay has 3 goals and three assists in four games for United.

The Toledo/Winlock soccer team may look like it has had a tough start, but there is excitement in the future.

Several freshman have taken varsity spots in the midfield and are operating nearly full time against a very difficult schedule. On Tuesday night, Freshmen Fernando Munoz and Adair Garibay scored two goals, unfortunately, their Trico League opponent scored three. On Thursday, United took it on the chin while visiting Trico League opponent Seton Catholic, 5-0. On Saturday, Garibay scored two goals and helped with two assists but United again were defeated 4-3 in non-league action against The Bush School of Seattle. Juan Guitterez and Brian Osborn took advantage of the Garibay assists by finding the back of the net.

United, now 0-4, will host King's Way Christian at Winlock on Tuesday night.
