November 7 Veterans Day celebration kicks off with breakfast at Toledo High School (omelets & AYCE hotcakes, 8-10 a.m.) or Presbyterian Women of the Congregation bake sale (homemade cinnamon rolls, breads, cookies and pie-by-the-slice or whole, opens 8:30 a.m.) including coffee at the church. Lewis County Veterans Day Parade (http://lewiscountyveteransparade.com) begins noon at North 5th and Cowlitz (did someone say bagpipes?), terminating at the Wall of Honor in Kemp Olsen Park. Toledo Senior Center offers refreshments following, served by area military families.
