Raymond suffered two Pacific League losses after succumbing to Ocosta and Chief Leschi last week.
The Seagulls were defeated 79-56 at home versus Ocosta last Tuesday (Jan. 12). The Wildcats put the game away by outscoring the Seagulls 20-9 in the first quarter and 27-11 in the fourth quarter.
Raymond won the second (19-18) and fourth (17-14) quarters. Kason Koski paced the Seagulls with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Marcus Anderson came through with 15 points.
The Gulls shot a poor 24 percent on 13 of 54 from the floor. Raymond went to the free throw line 39 times - sinking 26.
Ocosta upped its overall record to 12-1, while Raymond slipped to 7-7.
"I think our youth got to us in the end, but we can't use that as an excuse anymore," RHS head coach Derek Rask told the Herald. "We faced some injuries in the fourth, but the thing I appreciated the most was our guys competed until the final buzzer."

Chief Leschi put a downer on Raymond's Winter Homecoming night by beating the Seagulls 71-61 at Seagull Gym Friday. The Seagulls dipped to 1-4 in the Pacific League.
"We put ourselves in a really good position in the fourth quarter," Coach Rask told the Herald. "We closed to within four points, but we began turning the ball over and didn't take care of it when it mattered most."
Koski scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Anderson added 10 points.
Raymond shot 37% from the field on 20 of 54, while the Warriors were at 36% on 29 of 55.
The Gulls were behind 52-35 heading into the fourth quarter.
Raymond visits Willapa Valley tomorrow and hosts North Beach Tuesday. Tacoma Baptist visits the Gulls (7-8) January 29 for Senior Night.
