SOUTH BEND - Karley Reidlinger pumped in 20 points and tore down 11 rebounds for a double-double to steer South Bend to an easy 51-25 win over Northwest Christian in a Pacific League contest Friday night at Koplitz Field House in south Bend.
"The Girl's played solid for most of the game," SBHS head coach Gary Wilson told the Herald. "We moved the ball well and created open shots. This was a game that they just got better as the game progressed. It was fun to watch the improvement throughout the game."
Edith Razo grabbed 10 rebounds and netted 10 for another double-double for the Lady Indians. Jessica Sanchez scored 11, took down 9 boards, made 5 steals and gave out 4 assists. Katelyn dished out 6 assists.
"Hanna Byington played a good solid game on both ends of the floor," Wilson added.

Visiting Ocosta jumped out to a 15-6 first lead and led the entire game to thwart south Bend's upset bid last Tuesday (Jan. 5).
"Ocosta's size gave us trouble in the beginning," Coach Wilson told the Herald. "We were down (by) as many as 14 points at one time in the second half but battled back within four points a couple of times in the fourth quarter. We just could not get the break to get over the top. We definitely improved as the game went on."
Razo paced the Tribe in the scoring with 12 points and she snared 8 rebounds. Jessica Sanchez collected 9 rebounds and Ashley Pearson chipped in with 8 points.
The Lady Wildcats upped their overall record to 7-5.
The Lady Indians visit rival Willapa Valley Thursday, travel to Life Christian Academy Saturday and host North Beach Tuesday (Jan. 19).
