Toledo clinic on track for completion in Oct.

Employees of Valley View Health Center's Toledo clinic took a walkthrough Friday of their new location as it undergoes construction at the corner of Augustus St. and Ramsey Way. The foundation of the building as well as the installation of utilities have recently been completed and the frame of the building itself is on its way up. As the facility is nearing the interior construction phase, the employees with Valley View met with contractors to make sure all necessary accommodations, such as the locations of exits, wheelchair ramps and private examination rooms, are accounted for in the floor plan. Officials report they still plan to have the clinic completed by Oct. 25 and open for patients the following week.
