Time to Help the Less Fortunate During the Holidays
We just had our fill of turkey and gave thanks for all we are blessed with. However there are those in our community that have not been as fortunate as many of us. It is the time of year to open our hearts to those less fortunate in this cold winter holiday season.
Please stop by the Pioneer Grocery on Saturday, December 5th to our Stuff the Buss Drive and the Everybody's Marketplace on the weekends prior to Christmas to support our Elf Drive. We will be collecting cash donations as well nonperishable food items.
It is the goal of the Ministerial Association to provide 250 Christmas dinners for those less fortunate. The Toy House is collecting items for the children and could use some help in their drive as well.
Checks can be mailed to the WHMA Food Bank at 1899 Park and please identify if it is for the food department or the toy house division of the Ministerial Association.
Our volunteers work so hard with our community churches to make this a better Christmas for others. Thank you from the WHMA Food Bank for your support and generosity. Let's make sure everyone has a blessed holiday season.
