Victoria and Mike Parsons
When you want all-natural body products and other organic items where do you look when you live in a small community? Victoria and Mike Parsons have opened Parwell Farms, a new home-based and online business in Vader that offers those products. "We grow our own lavender contained in our products. We are also beekeepers and we use the honey in our bath products, as well as selling it to local residents," stated Victoria.
The Parsons moved to Vader four years ago from Vancouver, Washington. Mike and Victoria moved first and then Sarah and Trent Elms, their daughter and son-in-law, soon followed. They enjoy being involved in the community. Mike is on the Vader City Council and Sarah works for the Town Crier and is in marketing with Visions for Vader.
"We actually fell in love with Vader and were excited by all the positive things we saw happening and wanted to be a part of it," continued Victoria. Victoria said she has been able to partner with Little Crane Cafe by using their coffee grounds in their soaps and scrubs. "We even named our coffee line products 'Jason's Java' after the owner of the Little Crane. We enjoy being a part of the city. We want to work with others in the community so they can see that if we work together we can accomplish so much more."
When Victoria was young, she had a dream that "one day I could offer handmade products that brought beauty to consumers. I wanted a home-based business with all natural products. My dream has come true."
Parwell Farms will be at many community events this summer. If you have the opportunity to see their "pop-up shop" just stop in and say hello. They are excited about their new adventure and are here to help the people of South Lewis County. Their information is available online at Parwellfarms.com. Don't forget to check out the tab "About us." They have a wide variety of products available.
