This week’s suspect is James A. Mueller, 42, of Chehalis, who is currently wanted on a no-bail warrant by the Department of Corrections for escaping community custody. Mueller sometimes attempts to use the last name Miller and is also being sought by Thurston County on a $1,000 warrant after failing to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended, third degree. Mueller’s last known address is on the 4000 block of Jackson Hwy., east of Napavine.

Mueller is classified as a violent offender, so those who have knowledge of his whereabouts should contact law enforcement as soon as possible, either through the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office at (360) 748-9286 or, to leave an anonymous tip for a possible cash reward, call Lewis County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-748-6422.

Lewis County’s Most Wanted is a publication of Town Crier in conjunction with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Its purpose is to lower crime rates by educating the public about local repeat offenders and those wanted by law enforcement. Individuals who use this information to confront, intimidate or harass suspects will be prosecuted by Lewis County.
