In Loving Memory of Nicholas Scott Cogburn |

A care free and fun loving Nicholas Scott Cogburn "Nick", 30, of North Loup Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 25, 2015. He was born Oct. 1, 1984, in Roseburg, Ore., to Louise A. Jensen (Staples) and John W. Weiner. Nicholas and his family moved to Winlock in 1994. He was the youngest of the four kids and a mischievous little prankster growing up. Nick attended Evaline Elementary School and graduated from Napavine in 2003. He participated in local youth groups and enjoyed playing basketball. He moved to Nebraska in 2006 where he lived a simple life having fun. He enjoyed his work and the many friends that he made there. Nick enjoyed cooking, spending time at home with his dogs and watching movies. He also had a special passion for music and playing the guitar. Nick will be remembered for his kindness and big heart. He had a special compassion for all living things. Nick is survived by his mother, Louise A. Jensen and her husband Dane, of Winlock WA; his father, John W. Weiner, of North Loup NE; Two Brothers, Don Cogburn, of Medford OR, Chris Cogburn and his wife Cim, of Kelso, WA.; Sister Lacee Odderman and her husband Paul of San Diego CA; and six nieces & nephews, Natasha, Wyatt, Kyler, Logan, Brianna and Brenden. A memorial-type service for family, friends, and all who knew Nick, is planned for 12 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Hope Grange in Winlock (120 Antrim Rd., off of Hwy. 603). |
