Abby Hodel won both sprints for Valley – taking the 100 in :13.6, and the 200 in :29.4. Hodel was also third in the long jump.
Also placing first for the Vikings were:
Alicia Smaciarz, pole vault, 8 feet, 6 inches.
Karli Friese, long jump, 14 feet, 10 inches.
Brooke Spoor, triple jump, 27 feet, 4 inches.
Jessica Cook, 800 meters, 2:42.7.
Dominique Kudasik, 1600, 6:27.8.
Allison Larew, 3200, 16:12.5.
Shania Barton, high jump, 5 feet.
In the pole vault, Valley's Karli and Lauren Friese tied for second place and Cook placed fourth.
Karlie Friese was second and Lauren Friese took third in the 100 hurdles.
Katie Rockett finished second in the discus and Maddy Huber was third.
Alyssa Hodgson claimed third place in the triple jump.
Vikes Finish Second
Willapa Valley's boys were a distant second to host North Beach. The Hyaks scored 149 points compared to 57 for the Vikings. Taholah scored 9 points and Mary M. Knight had 3.
Matt Konigsberger won the javelin for the Vikings with a toss of 151 feeet, 4 inches. Konigsberger also was a winner in the 400 meters with a clocking of :54.2. Konigsberger placed second in the 100 at :11.8.
Viking Dominci DeLong was a winner in the 800 meters with a time of 2:29.7.
Jason Fluke and Trevor Cook tied for first place in the pole vault at 9 feet, 6 inches; DeLong was third.
Robert Espina was second in the triple jump and wound up third in two events, including the high jump and 300 hurdles.
Fluke placed third in the javelin at 128-1.
Blake Moore finished fourth in the 300 hurdles.
The Vikings head to the Tri-District meet at South Bend on Thursday, 3:30 p.m.
