The Ninth Annual Chocolate on the Beach Festival has come and gone as of the February 26th weekend. Specialty businesses and vendors came from all over Washington for an opportunity to exhibit their tasty handmade chocolate treats. There were multitudes of gourmet bonbons, ice creams as well as different types of gourmet toffees and chocolate themed alcoholic beverages.
The neighbouring communities of Moclips, Aloha, Copalis Crossing, Seabrook and Copalis Beach all participate in the festival by being a part of the Chocolate on the Beach People's Choice Awards, a contest that is open to all of the listed communities' businesses, that any festival-goer has a chance to judge.
