Suzanne Croy
Mrs. Suzanne Croy has been a secretary registrar at Toledo High School (THS) for 9 years. She substituted for 2 years at Toledo Middle School (TMS) for K Lyon as a secretary. She says the best parts of her of her job are "working with the kids," "I like the diversity of the job," and "I get to talk to the kids and work with them." Everyday during her job she has a bright smile which shows she enjoys her job.
Ways she helps students are "help copy papers," and "help students throughout the day." The most important thing that Croy said was "If it wasn't for the kids and staff I wouldn't enjoy getting to stare at a computer screen."
Some of her responsibilities as a secretary registrar:
- She pays ASB bills
- Keeps records
- Works with parents and students
- Helps with Homecoming, Prom and dances
- She helps people with their transcripts (for verifying graduates) for colleges and potential employers
She said, "I love fellow staff members: great teachers. Jana is a hoot! Mr. Hoffman is good at his job and is great to work with. This isn't about me. It's about the students."
She lives in Kelso. She is married to Mike Croy who is the defensive coordinator for THS football, a 5th grade teacher at Toledo Elementary School (TES), and is a TMS track coach.
She has one daughter named Amanda who is a substitute paraeducator at TES. She also has a son Michael whose wife's name is Carly and is in the Army as an E-4 Black Hawk helicopter mechanic with 5 ½ years of service.
Croy's desire is to have each student succeed/be successful in life. She LOVES Toledo and is PROUD of her school and staff.
