4-H Shooting Sports Team Competes at State

Tye and Karley Reidinger of South Bend both earned fourth-place in their air rifle age divisions. Marsha Poulsen earned fifth place in the senior air rifle division. Destine Poulsen was selected as a Washington State representative for the Daisy College Scholarship Award. She will learn the results in June. The team included Destine Poulsen, Tye Reidinger, Jacob Snodgrass, Karla Reidinger, Marsha Poulsen, Issabella McConkey and Ashley Hoffman. Team Coaches are George Hernandez, Lisa Reidinger and Rachelle Martin.

The 4-H shooting sports project is open to youth between the ages of 8 and 19. From October through April adult 4-H shooting sports leaders will be offering more instructional events for rifle and shotgun at the Willapa Harbor Gun Club. Youth do not currently have to be currently enrolled in 4-H to participate. To be kept informed on upcoming events, contact the Pacific County WSU Extension Office Staff.
