Well, my Thanksgiving was great, and I’d like to thank JoAnn and Mike Porter once again for having my entire family and I join their holiday celebration. You’re the best.

Regrettably, this is my last column. As some of you are aware, I am moving with my family (yup, my mother, sister, brother-in-law, and four nieces and nephews) to Eastern Washington. This move has been on the docket for almost a year, and it is finally happening in the upcoming weeks. For more than four years, this column has been my responsibility every week, and I can’t deny that a large part of me is sorry to see it all come to an end. Thank you all so much for your support, and I’m sure that whoever takes over the Winlock News will be much better at it than I am. Thanks again. For everything.
