Well, I’m tired. I just got back from visiting Eastern Washington, and I spent a good portion of the last three days trapped in a car with four grumpy kids. I’ve earned my exhaustion.
Don’t forget to drop on by the new shop on First Street called Adriana’s Lost and Found. It’s right across the street from the Trading Post, and they’re due to have their Grand Opening this weekend! For more information, please contact the shop’s owner at (360) 523-3315.
Commodities will be available at the Olequa Senior Center now on the fourth Friday of the month, rather than the previous third Friday schedule. This amenity is available to local families in need.
Colonial Residence will once again be providing lunch at the senior center, and it’s all set for noon on Thursday, Sept. 19. If you’re interested in attending, it is reservation only, and they need those by Sept. 11! Just drop on by the senior center or contact them at (360) 785-4325 to do so. There is no cost for the meal, although donations are always appreciated.
Oh, and don’t forget (I can’t emphasize this enough, as they’re delicious) that lunches are provided at the center five days a week now. The potato bar is still scheduled for Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. for the cost of $7. Proceeds benefit the center. Plus, all you crafters, remember to drop by the center on Thursdays at 10 a.m. They’ve got a great group going!
The Winlock Timberland Library is presenting their monthly Page Turners Book Discussion on Friday at 12:30 p.m. This event welcomes adults for a special Reader’s Choice session, where they can share one of their favorite recent books! For more information on this or future programs, please contact the library at (360) 785-3461.
