Where is Our Government Headed?

Mr. Craig points out that many of those illegal immigrants we have in our town and county are paid as contractors. What a great deal for the businesses; they do not have to pay employers half of social security; do not have to verified their legality and pass all the cost of their employee off to the overwhelmed public; not to mention the advantage that it gives to hire illegal's instead of an American.

What was also made clear is Mr. Craig states that being paid as a contractor, you are responsible to file your own tax return. "Do you really think that an illegal immigrate is going to file a tax return?"

Thank you Ron Craig for your informative Letter to the Editor, and I would like to also point out that the public schools are underfunded per our State Supreme Court and the State Legislators must correct this by 2018. Do you think more taxes? The schools must play the hand they are given with new students and more money needed.

Some time ago all of us were asked to see what we could do for our country. American business were also asked. With this information, we got our answer from local business.

Where is our government in this destruction of our country?
