Curious what your city officials are up to? You can stay up-to-date through Vader's official website: www.vaderwa.org/. From here you can view agendas for upcoming meetings, documents such as the city's budget and comprehensive plan, as well as the most current public notices. A breakdown of city staff and departments is also available if you're needing to get in touch with someone in particular. All the same information is available if you drop by City Hall during their regular hours Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call City Hall at (360) 295-3222.
You can also stay connected to the city's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CityOfVader. Here city staff offer regular updates of ongoing city activities, while being able to contribute their own photos and events depicting the city's history.
And be sure to get your 2015 dog license if you haven't already. Help keep stray pet laws enforced, while ensuring your own pet can be returned if located with their license. Price for first animal is $10.50, if spayed or neutered, and $18.75 otherwise. Be sure to have your pet licensed by the end of the month.
