Timberland Regional Library (TRL) now offers access to Hoopla, an online digital media service offering free checkouts of movies, television shows, educational videos, documentaries, music.

All titles can be instantly streamed TRL card-holders to computers and mobile devices; or they can be temporarily downloaded to mobile devices via free mobile apps. Hoopla movies and TV shows check out for 3 days, music for 7 days, and audiobooks for 3 weeks. Each user can borrow ten items per month. Items are automatically returned at the end of the borrowing period.

To start using Hoopla, go to www.TRL.org. Hover your mouse over the words “Library Collection” near the top of the webpage and a drop-down menu will appear. If you are a first-time user, you may want to click on “Hoopla - Info” and read the details about how it works, including the FAQs. Links to free mobile apps for Hoopla are also on this page.

When you are ready to start using Hoopla, click on “Hoopla digital video, music, audiobooks” and create a login with your email address and TRL library card number. There are titles available in each format for children as well as adults. For additional information, contact your local Timberland library branch or visit www.TRL.org.
