Kyle E. Rogers, 33, of Winlock, is sought
in connection with a robbery taking place
near Vader earlier this month.
Authorities are seeking a pair of suspects connected with a robbery taking place at a Toledo man's home earlier this month , according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
One of the suspects, Kyle E. Rogers, 33, of Winlock, was known to the victim, a 33-year-old Toledo man, who said Rogers entered the victim's home on the 400 block of SR 506, east of Vader, and demanded valuables from the residence under threat of bodily harm, and stole three laptop computers. Authorities are still seeking to identify a second male suspect whose role in the robbery has yet to be described.
A sweep of the area was attempted after authorities were called but no arrests were made and Rogers has been referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office for a charge of robbery. He is believed to be residing in Cowlitz County, though his last reported address was on the 100 block of Russell Rd., in Winlock. Rogers is additionally wanted by the Department of Corrections for escaping community custody.
