Six hopeful cooks will be vying for bragging rights as Chili Cook-Off King or Queen, including Mike Morris, South Bend Schools Superintendent with his “Super Indian Chief” chili; Scott MacDougall, Pacific County Fair Manager with his “Fire House Chili-Man” chili; Steve Rogers, Pacific County Commissioner with his “Kickin’ Kiwanis King” chili; Richard Allan Curtis, World class photographer with his “Picture Perfect” chili; The Honorable Judge Joel Penoyar with his “Give Him an Appeal” chili; and the team of Julie D and Debbie W with their “Bell-Ringer” chili.

You will determine the winner. Your $5 donation will allow you to blind-taste all six entrants. You vote for the best chili and enjoy a full bowl of your favorite concoction along with cornbread, brownies, and coffee or lemonade. Hot dogs will be on sale if your taste runs to chilidogs. Take-out containers will be available.

In addition to this unique culinary experience, you can show off your physical ability in a beanbag toss contest, which is open to all ages.

Get your tickets from any Kiwanis member or purchase at the door.

Your $5 donation goes to the South Bend Kiwanis Scholarship Fund.
