1919 to Stephen and Mary Solomon. She was married to Edward D. Kelley and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the South Bend Transfer Company. Her childhood years were spent in Pe Ell and Web Lake, Wisconsin. Formerly of South Bend and Raymond Washington, she moved to Oregon from Mesa, Arizona to be near family. She loved cooking and baking for friends and family, reading and listening to music.
Sophia is survived by her children, Sheila Kelley Dearman (Mark) and Marcia Leber Lindvall (John), and grandchildren, Tyler Dearman, Chase Dearman, Christopher Lindvall, Dr, Lisa Lindvall Aquino, Arlene Leber Lester and Tim Leber, 10 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Her sister, Mildred Gajcak, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, brothers, John and George, a son, Richard Leber, and a grandson, Richard Leber.
A graveside service will be held-at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug.17 at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo, Washington, followed by a memorial luncheon at the Raymond Eagles Lodge.
