Wilho Saari, a renowned kantele player, (a Finnish national stringed instrument) will perform at a short concert. Saari has received numerous awards including the Governor’s Art and Heritage Award for the State of Washington and is the Recipient of the NEA National Heritage Fellowship.
An international award-winning Finnish comedy will also be presented. Contemporary Finnish humor is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone and you will leave laughing.
You need not speak Finnish since there is English translation. There will be time for coffee, Finnish bulla (pulla), lingon-berry juice and visiting with friends.
Admission will be free, but a donation would be gladly accepted for the Naselle Finn Festival musical program held on the last weekend of July.
