Remember to return your ballot

Ballots for the February Special Election were mailed out last week and are due by mail or in an approved ballot box by Feb. 10.

Local voters are being asked to approve tax levies for fire districts and school districts in Toledo, Vader, Castle Rock and Ryderwood, all of which require a simple majority to pass. Be sure to return your ballot to either the ballot box at the Castle Rock Library (137 Cowlitz St. W, Castle Rock) for Cowlitz County voters, the ballot box at the Lewis County Historic Courthouse (351 NW North St.., Chehalis) or Twin Cities Senior Center (2545 N National Ave., Chehalis) for Lewis County voters, or to your local post office, making sure it is postmarked by Feb. 10.
