Raymond Schools Foundation Encourages local support

The mission of the Raymond Schools Foundation (RSF) is to support the students, staff and programs in the Raymond School District. An important goal of RSF is to provide opportunities that students from a small district may not otherwise be able to experience. Several grants have been awarded this fall.
* Raymond Elementary has received grants to fund the following:
6th grade field trip to see a production of the play ELF at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle
College Bound program shirts for students to promote college readiness
* Library purchases from the Ruth Baker Fund
Principal Fund
The Junior-Senior High was also awarded grants that include:
* 7th grade field trip to the King Tut exhibit at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, which included a museum tour and an Imax film

The Raymond Schools Foundation board encourages individuals and groups to support the efforts of RSF. Contributions and donations are appreciated and can be sent to RSF, P O Box 345, Raymond, WA. 98577.
