business to be located at the Port's South Fork Industrial Park. This should not be controversial. The people of Pacific County and the State of Washington voted to make marijuana production, processing and use legal. It is now the law of the land and must be upheld by our law enforcement agencies.
Other communities are actively recruiting. Believe me, if Marcus Charles does not come here, he will be welcomed into one of our neighboring communities. With the Port's decision to negotiate a lease with the state's first large commercial marijuana operations, we will be a leader in this new industry. And, we will gain 40-50 desperately needed new jobs.
We cannot afford to let this opportunity pass us by! Let's ignore the angry chatter and welcome this new reality of the future!
