Ratsavongsy, Peterson named MVP, Coach of the Year

Darol Ratsavongsy, a junior at Raymond HS, was named Pacific League MVP and Willapa Valley head coach John Peterson shared Coach of the Year honors with Ocosta’s Jason Quinby.
Also named to the first team were Carte Bisbee, sr., RHS; Corey Thornton, jr., North Beach; Matt Konigsberger and Stephen Camanzind, both juniors from Willapa Valley; and Andrew Hamilton, a senior at Raymond.
Second team members included Kurt Bambauer, sr., Ocosta; Dustin Eaton, sr., Naselle; Chandler Chapman, sr., Naselle; Sam Scrabeck, jr., Naselle; Alex Herrera, sr., Ocosta; and Justin Elliott, jr., South Bend.
Given Honorable Mention status were North Beach: Joesph Wagner, Justin Chong and Gabe Hernandez; Raymond: Marvin So and Rayce Newman; Willapa Valley: David Rockett, Anthony Sagen South Bend: Miles Davis; and Northwest Christian: Austin Koukal.
