Presidential Politicians

Presidential Politicians,

After reading and listening to numerous talking heads, political analysts', and viewing various polls, I'm with the majority of voters who conclude that our Nation is on the wrong path. About 80% of those polled believe we are on the wrong path, and about 60% believe we will be leaving our children a worse place to live than our parents were able to leave us. This is really a sad situation, but for sure I support that conclusion.

We are seeing an unusual occurrence with the candidates who have announced for office: The ones that are the most outspoken and avoid the politically correct speech, are gaining popularity over those who are still politically correct.

The political "insiders" consistently bad-mouth those candidates who speak the truth. But they end-up offending me, and I believe the majority of Americans are offended. Most political commentators have a conflict of interest when they are commenting; they want the same good ole boys and girls to be re-elected, as they have an association with them. They just want to retain the status quo. But, the status quo is the problem.

The Republican and Democratic parties are broke. Their leaders are old and clueless, and corrupted. The leaders in both parties have failed the people they represent. They work for themselves and money for their election. They have completely forgotten about the governess part of their position, and have turned that over to the various government agencies. These agencies in effect are giving us the middle finger and getting away with it, as in the IRS.

So we see candidates who are not associated with the ruling political class getting higher ratings, while those which represent the ruling class struggle.

I long ago disassociated myself with the Republican Party, they and the Democrat Party are the same, and not representing the people.

In short I believe the American voters are mad as hell on where our elected leaders are taking this Country. Note I used elected leaders; there are many good men and women who are trying to do the right thing, but are being stopped by their so called leaders. Example Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader, defending himself about telling a lie said: "We serve the people not our egos"...really??
