Pot Farm No Good for Our Community

Raymond, I think South Bend residents should have had a say about putting the “biggest pot farm in the state of Washington: Don’t those people pushing this through realize what kind of people will be flocking to our little towns? It won’t be safe to be out on the streets. You brag about how many people would be employed. What about all those men who lost their jobs at Christmas time at the mill? No one seemed to care about them. I have had to be in hospitals in Seattle and Olympia this past year and when the employees of the hospitals ask me where I’m from, most of them even in Olympia, have no idea where South Bend or Raymond is. If the pot farm goes in, I bet they will have heard of this area! Alta Moore, South Bend, Wash.
