Michael Leroy Pedrazzetti, 43, was arrested last Friday morning on four drug charges including delivery and manufacturing of methamphetamine and two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
Pedrazzetti was arrested at his residence on Smith Creek Road off Highway 101. Making the arrest were detectives from the Pacific County and Grays Harbor County Drug Task Forces.
Detectives found a substantial amount of methamphetamine, digital weigh scales and other narcotics related paraphernalia. Detectives also found a substantial amount of cash believed to be proceeds from methamphetamine dealing.
Also arrested at the scene was Patricia Louise Clifford, 31. Her charges stemmed from a community custody violation and an outstanding warrant from the Dept. of Corrections. Clifford was ordered held for another agency and her bail was set at $4,700.
Assisting on the arrest were the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Police, Shoalwater Bay Tribal Police, the State Patrol, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
High Speed Chase
Marcia Roxane Harper, 36, was arrested by South Bend Police for stealing a vehicle and eluding police last Friday night in a case that started out with a high speed chase involving four law enforcement personnel that began in Raymond and went to Chehalis and eventually South Bend.
“The pursuit reached speeds of 70 and 80 miles per hour,” Raymond Police Chief Chuck Spoor told the Herald.
Harper, of Puyallup and formerly of the South Bend/Raymond area, was going to be ticketed for speeding and failure to yield on State Route 6 heading east when the chase started. There were four squads in on the chase, including two from Raymond and two from South bend, according to Spoor.
“We notified the State Patrol and Lewis County and set out two sets of spike strips,” Spoor said. “She avoided the first and hit the second one.”
Harper was apprehended at the I-5 overpass. “She was stopped and taken into custody,” Spoor said. “She appeared to have some mental health issues and was transported to the hospital (Willapa Harbor) and turned over to mental health for evaluation. At some point, she fled the hospital, stole a car in South Bend and drove to a residence on Broadway (Street) in South Bend.” Harper was then apprehended again.
“She walked out under mental health and then stole her friends car,” South Bend Police Chief Dave Eastham told the Herald.
“As it turned out, we’re very fortunate,” Spoor said.
On another note, Chief Spoor added that the Willapa Harbor Festival went well. “The festival went really well from a law enforcement standpoint,’ Spoor said.
Stigall Arrested for Burglary
South Bend Police arrested Joshua Stigall, 30, for burglary in the second degree and his bail was set at $10,000. Stigall was allegedly stealing power tools from an apartment complex in South Bend when a tenant saw him and called police, Chief Eastham was on duty and promptly made the arrest.
* Patrick Alan Gatens, 36, was arrested by Sheriff Johnson and charged with four counts of illegal use of firearms and two counts of criminal attempt. The incident occurred in Naselle recently.
Johnson said that Gatens made threats to some people, including two kids and his girlfriend, and then cut the power in house. Law enforcement moved in a defused the situation. “We were lucky on that one,” Johnson said.
Gatens’ bail was set at $500,000; he’s residing at the Pacific County Jail awaiting his next court appearance.
* Joseph Nabiel Shawa, 28, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for failing to register as a sex offender and a community custody violation. Shawa’s bail was set at $50,000.
* Christopher Marc Schlosser, 47, was arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended license last Monday (July 29) night by the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife. Schlosser’s bail was set at $20,000.
* Teresa Marie Dundom, 55, was sent to jail Sunday morning for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, a felony. Sheriff Deputy Miller arrested dundom.
