MENLO - The 125th edition of the Pacific County Fair runs from August 26 through August 28 with gates open from 10 am to 9 pm at the fairgrounds in Menlo.
This year's fair is the 100th in the town of Menlo.
General admission prices are Adult (Daily 18 and over) $7; Senior Citizen (60 and over) $5; Students (1st-12th grades) $5; Preschoolers, Free; Nursing Home Residents, Free; Free Senior Citizen and Veterans Day at Fair is Friday August 25th; Free Kids Day at the fair (12 and under is Saturday, August 28th.
Below are important dates for fair enthusiasts.
- August 2: All animal paper entries due Open/4H and FFA. Exhibitors must turn their registration forms into the FFA Advisor no later than August 1. August 22, 10 am-7 pm: Fair Entry Day - Open Class Sewing/Needlework/Quilts; Baking/Canning/Foods; Art Work/Wood Working/Metal Work; Hobbies. Sunday will be the entry day now for most exhibits including foods, baking etc.
- August 24, 10 am-7 pm: Fair Entry Day for vegetables, fruits, grains and honey ney are entered today. Print off your entry forms online.
- August 25: Fair Entry Day - Animal Vet Check for sheep, goats, horses, beef, swine, dairy, dairy poultry. The actual times for specific animals will be announced.
- August 26 10 am-7 pm: Fair Entry Day - Floral Exhibits. All flowers, flower arrangements are entered in the Vegetable/Floral/4-H building. Print off your entry.

The fairgrounds is located six miles east of Raymond on State Route 6 on 5 Fair lane across from Willapa Valley HS/MS.

Because of the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, in all likelihood, there will not be a carnival and to date only three musical acts have been booked.

Also of interest, the Willapa Harbor Festival runs August 7-8. This year's festival will be conducted at the Raymond Riverfront Park, which is a new location for the event. Featured entertainment includes the Car Show, Music in the Park, vendors, good food, the Kids Train, a softball tournament, beer garden, fountain in the street, an open mic, and other events.
The Come & Play on Labor Day Festival in South Bend is September 3, 4, 5 and 6. The theme for the event is Happy Days are Here Again.
The Grays Harbor County Fair in Elma runs from August 4-8.
