Method Doesn't Seem to be Working

There is a hapless gentleman out in Menlo, who, each election season, eagerly awaits my letters to editors (LTE’s) in the local papers so he will know how he should vote, that is – opposite to whomever I am supporting, typically Democrats. Apparently he thinks it is morally superior to merely vote for someone who is NOT a Democrat – as opposed to all those blind sheep out there who vote only for those who are Democrats.

Well, over the past several decades, I have written supportive LTE’s for the following political candidates who all were actually ELECTED: Presidents Clinton and Obama; Governors Locke, Lowry, Gregoire, and Inslee; Senators Murray and Cantwell; WA state legislators Reps. Takko, Blake, Doumit and Hatfield (the latter two went on to become WA state senators), PC County Commissioners Lisa Ayers and Steve Rogers; just to name a few.
