She had a tough job, coming in when Commissioner Cuffel was approaching the end of his term, Commissioner Kaino had retired, and Bev Olson was filling in for him, not to mention she was the recipient of the job of trying to correct the devastating effects of “the great recession.”
During this time, Lisa was on more than a dozen boards and yet she dug in and worked toward fiscal responsibility by managing funding of departments and projects more effectively through the acquisition of grants and downright penny pinching in order to save our tax dollars.
The experience she gained in her previous position of county fiscal analyst has served her very well
Thank you, Lisa! This woman can never be accused of sitting idly by and pulling in a paycheck. She’s out there in the county in touch with constituents, identifying concerns and working toward solutions. She and the other commissioners complement each other with their separate strengths. We’re fortunate to have a great team, and there’s no reason to make a change.
I heartily endorse Lisa Ayers, and encourage you to give her your vote.
