Life Christian Academy fought back Raymond 45-39 Friday night at Tacoma in a Pacific League game.
Karlee Freeman got into foul trouble and it hurt the Lady Seagulls in the second and third quarters. Freeman still ended up with 16 points in limited playing time.
Raymond led 11-7 after one quarter, but trailed 21-18 at halftime and 33-23 proceeding into the fourth quarter.
Raymond was 17 of 39 from the field for 44% compared to 20 of 37 (54%) for LCA. The Eagles were 4 of 12 at the foul line and RHS was 2 of 7.
Mikayla Collins was a force on the boards for Raymond with 13.
Alea Yun scored 14 points, Courtney Youngblood had a dozen and Alyssa Donaldson added 10 for Christian (5-4).
Raymond dropped to 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the Pacific League.

Last Tuesday (Jan. 5) Ilwaco outscored Raymond 72-62 at IHS. Freeman was again solid on offense with 26 points for the Lady Seagulls. Freeman also had 7 steals on defense.
Raymond led 14-12 after one quarter, but trailed at halftime 29-24. The Lady Gulls fell behind by 20 points in the third quarter but fought back to only find themselves behind 51-42 heading into the last 8 minutes. Ilwaco won the fourth quarter 21-20 where the closest RHS got was seven points.
Freeman was 11 of 31 from the floor. Cydney Flemetis came up with 10 points for RHS. Freeman had 9 boards. Kinsey Collins had 3 blocks and 6 rebounds.
The Lady Fishermen pushed their record to 10-2. Ilwaco also was victorious in the junior varsity game.
The Lady Seagulls visit Ocosta Thursday, Chief Leschi Saturday and entertain Willapa Valley at Seagull Gym Tuesday for Pacific League games.
