Photo by Van Adams www.vadavidsphoto.com - The Raymond American Legion Post 150 marched in the parade in 2019 and are going to make another appearance in this year's Tokeland 4th of July Parade happening on Saturday, July 3.
On Saturday, July 3, 2021, the Tokeland North Cove Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to their annual parade and to celebrate this great nation.
This old-fashioned parade began in 1979 with a few friends patriotically strolling down the street. For over 40 years, this historic parade has honored this great country's birthday and Tokeland would like to have you join in.
It is expected that over 100 floats will be in the parade this year. Some of the participants are:

- South Beach Buccaneers
- Half Moon Bay Pirates
- Pacific County Fair
- Democrats of Pacific County
- Ocosta Jr/Sr High School
- Hay Wire Designs
- Westport Aquarium
- DOT - Dune Our Thing
- South Beach Regional Fire Authority
- Willapa Harbor Quilters
- River Rocks Gone Wild
- Pacific County Sheriff's Office
Prizes will be awarded to the best entries in the following categories:
- Best Animal Entry
- Best Children Entry
- Best Car
- Best Float
- Judges Choice
- Grand Prize

This is a fun family event, but COVID-19 restrictions have changed some of the fun. This year there will be no picnic or field games, but they may be back next year.
Here is the run down on this special event:
- Plan to be at the Tokeland Marina no later than 10:30 a.m. to line up.
- Tokeland Road will be closed to car traffic at 10:45 a.m.
- At the marina, check in at the registration tent and get your participation ribbon.
- If you're watching the parade, follow the signs to park in the extended lots; parking at the Tokeland hotel will be reserved for guests and handicap parking only.
- Please socially distance (6ft apart) on the parade route.
- If you're not vaccinated, please wear a mask.
- This event will follow the WA State Phase 3 Guidelines.
