Join the Fun at the Harbor Festival this Weekend

Willapa Harbor Festival coupon books will allow you over 25 discounts and freebies at businesses around the county, valid throughout the weekend and, in some cases, into the fall. They can be picked up at many businesses in South Bend and Raymond, including Willapa Printing, Mike Plato’s office, Pitchwood Alehouse, Brighton Rehabilitation, and Dennis Company.

The celebration kicks off on Friday with an all-day quilt show at the Raymond High School (until 5 pm), merchant sidewalk sales, a book sale at the Timberland Library, ARC Photography photoshow, and a softball tournament at 8th Street Park. The Friday schedule is as followed:

5:00 PM – Battle of the Bands with Jackie Mitchell and Stan Sturgill at the main stage

6:15 – Battle of the Bands with Jesse Lee Falls, at the main stage

6:30 – Elks Lodge salmon dinner and karaoke

7:30 – 9:30 – Community dance featuring Humptulips presented by Horns and Hooks, at the main stage

8:30 – Battle of the Bands, Amadon at Harley’s Bar N’ Grill

8:30 – 11:30 – Battle of the bands, Plus Tax at the Elks Lodge

10:30 – Battle of the Bands with Bremen at Harley’s Bar N’ Grill

11:00 – Grynch with DJ Bitty at the Pitchwood

Continue the fun on Saturday with an all-day beer garden at 3rd Street Park offered by the Pitchwood, a second quilt show (until 4 pm) and another softball tournament! In addition, Saturday’s schedule is:

8:00 AM – Mud Run

8:30 – 2:30 – Classic car show featuring Johnny Manson, at South Fork Landing Park

10:00 – 4:00 – Kayak rentals at the 8th Street Boat Launch

11:00 AM – Battle of the Bands, Human Ottoman at the main stage

11:00 – 6:00 – Food and beer garden with pocket tacos and taco taters, at the Eagles

Noon – BBQ and beer garden at the Elks Lodge

Noon – Parade in downtown Raymond

1:00 – Battle of the Bands with Wild Country featuring Andy Portman, main stage

1:00 – 4:00 – Carriage rides at the Carriage Museum

1:30 – Chowder cook off at the New Life Fellowship, sponsored by the Willapa Chamber

2:00 – 4:00 – Bingo at the Eagles

2:00 – Battle of the Bands, Caryn Jamison at the Pitchwood

2:00 – 5:00 – Free swim at the Raymond pool

2:30 – Classic car show crosstown cruise

3:00 – Battle of the Bands, Project Lionheart at the mainstage

4:00 – Battle of the Bands, Lone Madrone at the Pitchwood

5:00 – Battle of the Bands, Jessica Marie Porter Band at the main stage

5:00 – 7:30 – Home brew and BBQ at the main stage (tickets available for $20 at the Pitchwood and Willapa Printing)

6:00 – Battle of the bands, McDougall at the main stage

7:00 – Battle of the bands, TBA at Harley’s Bar N’ Grill

8:00 – Battle of the bands, Search Party at the Pitchwood

8:00 – Karaoke with Doug Hamilton at the Elks Lodge

9:00 – Battle of the bands with The Weather Machine, Harley’s Bar N’ Grill

10:00 – Live performance by Project Lionheart at the Pitchwood

The celebration finishes on Sunday. The Sunday schedule:

9:00 – 1:00 PM - $10 pubic champagne brunch at the Elks Lodge

9:00 AM – Softball championship

1:30 – 5:00 PM – Battle of the bands final at the Raymond Theatre
