Jessie Marie Backman died Dec. 28, 2013. Born June 16, 1912, she was 99 years old.

She was preceded in death by husband Jim Backman, son Lee Backman, of Vancouver, sister Frances, of Winlock, brother Frank, in Coleville.

She is survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebrations of Live has been scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. at Cattermole Funeral Home, in Winlock. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Harrison Square Presbyterian Church, of Centralia.
