Being a caregiver is intense. Care giving can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have, and the most exhausting.
Please join us for a Care Givers Resource Event on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Willapa Valley Grange. The Grange is located at 290 Camp One Road in Raymond.
Local resources will be on hand to share their expertise with our community. Agencies include Harbors Home Health & Hospice, Senior Information and Assistance, Senior Companions, Personal Service Providers, Home Care Northwest, and more.
At 11 a.m., Kirsten Harvill from the Pacific County Emergency Management Agency will speak to “Preparing and caring for a loved one in a disaster.” At 1 p.m., Eric Nessa, from the Olympic Area Agency on Aging will share tools for self-care through his presentation entitled, “You are not alone in your care giving journey.”
