Found in Toledo

During the Fourth of July celebrations the remnants of a paper lantern that brought holiday wishes from a distant land was discovered in the fields just outside of Toledo.

The origin is not exactly known, but the sentiment speaks volumes to where our thoughts should be during the Independence Holiday weekend.
While traditional noisy celebrations took place all over the country, someone remembered what this holiday really meant to their family.

The message on the lantern reads:

Happy 4th Daddy!
I love & miss you very much and your grandbaby will grow up knowing all about you.
You are always in my thoughts.
I love you Daddy
Happy Independence Day Soldier.
