Kalama 38 Castle Rock 19
Castle Rock just couldn't answer Kalama score for score and paid the price. CR allowed 396 of offense to the Chinooks, but Chris Millward scored a 20-yard TD early.
Talib Meeks score the second TD for the Rockets to keep hope alive before the Chinooks scored twice more. QB Mason Klingberg ran 20 yards for the final CR score.
Castle Rock finished their season 3-6 on the season and 2-3 in the Trico League.
Toledo 46 Wahkiakum 21
A host of Indians found the end zone as Toledo defeated Wahkiakum on Friday night.
Taylor Hicks, Dylan Hoiseck, Konner Crawford, Gabe Fuentes, Grant McEwen all scored with Hicks and Crawford adding a second TD. The Tribe jumped to a 27-0 first quarter advantage as Hicks had a 64 yd TD run, Crawford rambled for a 65 yard punt return and Fuentes took a Dalton Yoder pass 34 yards to pay dirt. Hicks rushed for 212 yards during the game and the Toledo defense held the Mules to just 37 yards on the ground.
Toledo finished the regular season in second place with a 7-1 record in the 2B Central League and will face Ilwaco, the fifth place team from the 2B Pacific League in the first (crossover) round of the state playoffs on Friday night at Centralia.
Napavine 68 Winlock 7
No surprise that the top-ranked team in the state would run all over the team with no wins. Evan Mitchell scored a TD to break a Tiger scoring streak, but then Napavine stated a new streak. Winlock QB Nolan Patching connected 4 passes for 60 yards.
Winlock is 0-9 on the season and will play a non-league game at Chief Leschi at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Puyallup.
