Cowlitz Grange adds a dozen new members

The Cowlitz Prairie Grange officially inducted a dozen new members during their meeting the evening of Jan. 14. Among those obligated as Fourth Degree members were Shelly & Dale Allen, Ashley & John Beaman, Ed Borte, Chris Blair, Bailee Phillips & Jacob Dailey, Nora & Matt Davis, Jill Davis and Kaleb Thompson. It was noted new member Matt Hamric had not been able to make it that night and will be obligated at a different time. Overseer Lewis Rohrig (foreground, left) was pleased to give obligations to the members present, who will now be among those contributing to local community programs such as the grange's annual Threshing and Gas Show, which celebrated its 50th years last summer.
