A float for the 50th annual Cowlitz Prairie Grange Threshing Bee runs during the Cheese Days parade on Friday. The Threshing Bee will be Aug. 23 and 24 this year with vendors, exhibitions and threshing on the hour, every hour. If you’d like to go, be sure to show up at the fields on the corner of Buckley Rd. just off Jackson Hwy.

 

Students with the Toledo School District’s band program perform with the help of cheerleaders and volunteers working to sustain the program.

 

Members of the Toledo Girls Softball Association wave and throw candy at spectators. The association will be holding a fundraiser this Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the girls softball complex on Jackson Hwy, including a bazaar, bake sale and silent auction.

For lack of a Cheese Days Queen in 2014, 10 year old Hailey Brown has volunteered to serve in that capacity for this year.
