Olympia, Washington - On August 15, legendary icon, musician, and philanthropist Dolly Parton will visit Washington State to celebrate achieving statewide coverage of the Imagination Library. All Washington children from birth to age five can now register to receive one book every month, for free, from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pacific County Emergency Management Agency Council will conduct a special meeting pertaining to the adoption of the 2024 DRAFT PCEMA Budget to be submitted to the Pacific County Board of County Commissioners.
Thursday evening, the Lewis County Boundary Review Board heard concerns about the proposed annex from the residents living in the Winlock Urban Growth Area. The hearing continued until 10:00 p.m. with many residents chiming in that they do not want to be annexed into the city. There was no decision made Thursday. The Boundary Review Board voted 4-0 on Friday to annex the UGA.

SOUTH BEND - Andrew "Andy" Webber died doing what he did best...putting himself there to help others. Webber, 40, died July 29 in Ukraine. He was serving a humanitarian mission with the 59th Motorized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Lance Lawrence was also killed in an attack.
