Residents of the UGA sitting in court for the lawsuit filed against them by the City of Winlock.
City of Winlock loses court case

On Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. the Lewis County Superior Court was filled with residents who reside in the UGA to hear the case against them. Attorney for the City of Winlock Jim Buzzard argued the case, but in the end Judge Toynbee sided with the citizens and the city lost their claim. There will be no writ of mandamus to permanently annex in the Urban Growth Area, it must be reviewed through the Lewis County Boundary Review Board.

The Winolequa Garden Club is having their plant and bake sale starting on May 12 and running every day through June 18. The location is at 1117 NW Mill St. in Winlock with hours from dawn to dusk.

Delgado sentenced to 28-plus years

SOUTH BEND - Gabriel A. Delgado, 32, of Lebam, was sentenced to approximately 28½ years after a plea agreement was reached for second-degree murder of his brother Andrew J. Delgado. The action took place recently in Pacific County Superior Court. The killing took place Sept. 10 of last year.

Raymond Hobby excitedly held their official grand opening and ribbon cutting on March 3. If you hadn't noticed the new-to-the-area business yet, they have taken root at 2500 Ocean Ave #8 in Raymond. This is the Canary Cottage building.
