Winlock City Council member illegally appointed

Winlock City Council has a council member who was illegally appointed over a year ago and according to emails between a local businessman and city attorney Sam Satterfield, from Hillier, Scheibmeir and Kelly, PS. Inc. the City and the City Attorney have known the entire time. They have done nothing to correct the illegal appointment, absolutely nothing.

Raymond School District awarded LV Raymond Foundation grants

The Raymond School District is all smiles after being awarded over $80,000 from the LV Raymond Foundation. The grants will be used in many ways and will bring some updated technology to the district.

Snow, more snow and some cold temperatures too

Three months ago meteorologists anticipated that Washington would experience an El Nino phenomenon with above normal temperatures expected meaning mild wet weather through the 2018-2019 winter. Many expected this meant the area would see little to no snow as both Pacific County and the entire state experienced in 2015 when the last El Nino took place.
