State House passes Cannabis Patient Protection Act
The Washington State House Friday approved the Cannabis Patient Protection Act in a 60-36 bipartisan vote to create a safe, quality-controlled and regulated marketplace for cannabis in Washington State.

Life Christian Academy defeated Adna, Willapa Valley and Raymond in boys golf at Willapa Harbor Golf Course March 26. The Eagles carded a round of 186 to win easily over the Pirates (213), Vikings (215) and Seagulls (240). Jens Crosier of Life Christian was the medalist with a round of 40.
Though it was a fairly regular meet for the rest of the girls at the track meet, Brooke Spoor broke a school record.

Last Friday. second graders from Raymond Elementary (Mr. Shores and Mr. Griffin classes) visited the Northwest Carriage Museum. The students learned about horse drawn vehicles and life in the 19th century. They enjoyed churning butter and dressing up in period costume.
